- BIOGRAPHY:
- I'm a relative newcomer to the music business. I've been in the biz about six years now and I got a late start. I fronted a relatively successful band, Sonic Blues, for 5 years. In Feb/Mar 2008 I founded Shot O' Soul with my current bandmates. We're a dynamic 7 piece blues band and we pride ourselves on straying from the conventional played out standard blues material. We try and do a lot of different styles of blues and perform cover songs that most other local blues acts aren't featuring in their sets. We've done a number of charity gigs so far for such organizations as Meals on Wheels, Parkinson's Foundation, and of course the BSWPA. The band is coming along very nicely and getting great crowd response at all of the gigs that we've performed thus far. We'll be coming to a stage near you very soon so keep an ear out for us! You won't be disappointed, I guaran-damn-tee it!

Sending invites out to join the network or to invite fans to Events actually goes through to the recipients own email without forcing them to sign on to the other network first, in order to retrieve the information. An inefficient way to communicate to those at work in corporations who block social network activity, networks like this one and the other ones. I looked for you at Friday's Blues fest. I finally had the opportunity to become a society member as I've wanted to do so for quite some time and Barb made it such a pleasant point of sale experience.

Hi Jim, Your first profile may have gottten corrupted some how. Fortunately you had a basic background (meaning you didn't put a lot of time on it, as tweaking the appearance of ones page can be time-consuming) and you can recopy & paste the pic into your new profile as well as the text you already inputted into the various sections. Sorry for the mis-hap, sounds like it might be a technical issue (?) Let me if you can rebuild without problems and when it's safe to remove the one that's no longer working. Thanks Jim
