Born to carny folk somewhere in Middle America Rufus spent his formative years traipsing around the country being exposed to the cultural and musical explosion that was blooming at the time.Having a "Curtis Lowe"experience meeting ,being tutored by and eventually Touring with R&B Legend BULLMOOSE"Big 10 Inch"Jackson,during his comeback in the 1980's.Finding himself at a crossroads Rufus has taken the trip like so many before him deadicating his life to spreading his passion of sweaty Roadhouse Blues with the ultimate vehicle THE BLUES JUNKIES!!
