BIOGRAPHY:

After attending West Virginia University, trombonist Reggie Watkins settled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania .
In 1999, he joined Maynard Ferguson performing thousands of shows and educational workshops over six years as musical director, arranger, soloist, and co-producer of "MF VI Live at Ronnie Scott's". Reggie was selected as a finalist for the Thelonious Monk Competition, and in 2004, released his solo CD "A-LIST". In 2006 Watkins received "Outstanding Alumnus" from Wheeling Park High.
Reggie has performed with Dave Matthews, Jose Feliciano, Dianne Schuur, The King of Thailand, The Temptations, The Ojays and currently with Jason Mraz and the Grooveline Horns.
