Profile Information

MUSIC GENRE(s): What music style(s) do you perform and/or are you in to?
I play mostly Rock/Blues/Pop/R&B. Some influences include (but are not limited to) David Gilmour, Billy Gibbons, Steve Vai, Eric Clapton, SRV to name a few.
CONTRIBUTION TO LIVE MUSIC: (what's your game?): Are you a performer, act, enthusiast (fan), promoter, venue, publisher, photographer, what service, etc?
I consider myself a musician, a performer, a guitarist, with a variety of musical interests.
BIOGRAPHY:
I began playing guitar about 35 years ago. I started by taking lessons at Lawrence Music Studios in Castle Shannon, PA. My first teacher was a guy named Dan Kent. I was also a student of Victor Lawrence, Dan Mackey, and Russ Lawrence. I took lessons there for about eight years. I was taught how to read music, chords, arrangements, theory,...everything.

Growing up, I played in the junior high school stage band, and would occasionally get together with other friends to work on some tunes. Mostly garage stuff just for fun. In later years, I mostly would just jam with others, no gigs yet.

I went for a period of time where I did not play. I just didnt have the free time available, or the connections with others to get something together.

Eventually, I got back into it. I was a basement superstar for a while when I was encouraged by my family and friends to start gigging. So, I started attending open stages in the area. I was fortunate to have had the priviledge to share a stage with people like (no particular order) Hermie Granati, David Granati, Norman Nardini, Dan Gochnour, Glenn Pavone, Craig King, Zack Wiesinger, Paul Goll, Shari Richards, Derrick Edwards, Zach Tyler, Billy Evanochko, "Crash" McCracken, Angel Blue, Randy Eugene,...too many more to list. A lot of the experiences that I have had with them has influenced how I play today.

During that time, I got my first gig with a band called Endurance. We were basically the house band for a place called The Wheel in Bridgeville, PA. We also played alot of other private gigs. After Endurance, I have played with the Electrifyers, Soul Village, Angel Blue and the Prophets, & Firewater Surprise. I also feel very fortunate to have been able to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe, The Pittsburgh Regatta, and many other excellent venues in the Pittsburgh vicinity.

Presently, I am working on gigging again. I have also taken an interest in recording some of my own material, and material in collaboration with other musicians, as you will find on this page.

.....(possibly) more coming soon
