Other credits include: musical director for WQED-TV's award winning "Black Horizons Show (1968-74); producer of NancyWilson's 25th Anniversary Concert in Pittsburgh (1978); appearance as a trombonist in the touring orchestra in the made-for TV movie entitled "The Temptations" (1996); Dean of Fine Arts for Rose-Croix University International (1986 - 90); Regents’ Lectureship at University of California, Santa Cruz in the metaphysics of music, a whole-brain approach to jazz mastery and creative writing (2002); author/publisher of "The World According to Bop," an anthology of original lyrics to 124 bebop and hard bop standards; playwright of “The World According to Bop” series of 5 boperettas; inventor of the "Trombetto," a one-of-a--kind 10-inch long, five pound brass instrument that can play 6+ octaves chromatically.
