Will I get out more often now that the weather has started to change?

I think I may be able to get the stink blown off of me now that the change is upon us. I hear there are some nice gatherings to attend. The Blues will never die.

You know you do bring up an interesting point. I felt the same way once upon a time but things have changed. I don't always look through the same lenses as I used to. Now as far as these gatherings you have mentioned, I have been elbow to elbow and cheek to cheek in that place, but the other place you mentioned... yes, I can understand where you're coming from. Dude, you and I sometimes seem to see things in a similar light. Keep me posted on your future adventures. Just remember, we all get stuck between a rock and a hard place from time to time.

Lurrie Bell with Nick Moss was worth the price of admission over at the Thunderbird Cafe in Lawrenceville. Piano Willie still plays a mean bass guitar. I think I saw you down in the crowd hanging with the camera crew. Nick Moss's label, "Blue Bella" just finished a new CD by the Fab Killborn Alley Blues Band from Champagne, Illinois. They played for the Blues Society Xmas party out in Bridgeville. You remember that occasion. Hey, you can't be at all places at all times, but I'll see you again when the next one comes around.

Location, location, location. Cliches exist because they are true. When I'm dancing down in New Orleans I realize that the location is ripe for entertainment.
When I dance in Pittsburgh... I love the ones like me who love the music. But it's a much smaller bubble.

Rock on! (And keep on dancin'!)

Well I hate to be the one to burst your bubble but I think it can all be found from within. Yea, I know, learning your craft is a lonely practice. One must spend many hours alone getting good at the craft; yet it is all for naught if there is no one to share it with. Hell, if a Picasso painting sits alone, nailed to a wall somewhere in France or Timbuktu, and no one ever sees the colors or shapes does it really exist? For that matter, does Picasso really exist? His spirit hovers above at all times and it descends upon you when you least expect it; but it lives and never dies. Put that in your pipe and smoke it1

Dude,
What have YOU been smokin'? Spirit was a band from the '70s.
Rock on!

Well I've been driving around the block awhile now and I see that there is still good music in the nooks and crannies that exist between the populated places of plasticity. Somewhere between a shot and a beer often lies the energy to conjure up the spirits in the air. But sometimes it seems like you and I are the only ones on this cloud and at times I'd like you to get off of my cloud.

I'll look for you at the next big thing. Until then,

Keep the faith.
